Check-in is from 3.00pm unless an alternative arrangement has been made.
The pod will be unlocked with the keys inside before the check-in time .
We try to respect our guests’ privacy and so we keep a low profile. But if you would like to be welcomed personally, we live nearby and would be more than happy – just get in touch beforehand.
Check-out
Check-out is by 11.00am unless an alternative arrangement has been made.
HEATING/POWER:
No need to switch off heating or unplug appliances.
KEYS:
Leave keys on breakfast bar. No need to lock pod but please ensure windows and front door closed properly to ensure these are not damaged by wind gust.
RUBBISH/RECYCLING:
Please put rubbish bags in utility shed. Put beside it any mixed recycling in a bag and any glass recycling. If you prefer, in the case of shorter stays, you can just leave it in the pod.
Additional Information
DOORS
If there is a breeze then the open pod doors may blow about and slam shut. Please use the door stops just inside the pod door. The same applies to the utility shed.
UNDERFLOOR HEATING
There’s a small panel above the armchair, with a switch beside it if it’s not already on. Lightly tap the temperature on the screen and tap the up or down arrows to set your desired temperature. There’s a separate control for the bedroom temperature. There is a manual in the kitchen drawer.
HOT WATER
The shower power switch is under the bedside shelf. With the shower control switch inside the shower, press the button on the right of the control knob for hot water. The control knob adjusts the flow speed of the shower and affects the temperature.
The kitchen and bathroom taps have a temperature control built-in. To get the hottest water open the tap to about the 10pm clock position. If tap is opened further the water flow will be too fast to allow the water to heat fully.
SMART TV
The power switch is under the breakfast bar. The TV will automatically connect to the internet router. Use the remote control to operate the TV. You will need to log in to TV apps – Netflix, iPlayer, etc, with your own account details.
COOKER
There is a manual in the kitchen drawer.
